Finding the right counsellor is important [research quote]. In my experience, once you’ve established that the person is registered and well recommended, your initial instinct is your best guide here.

I offer a free 20 minute phone call to meet you and check whether we will be a good match.

This is something that as a client I’ve wished more counsellors did, as it would have saved me spending $100 on an appointment to find out in the first ten minutes we weren’t going to work well. So, now that I have the opportunity, it’s something I offer my clients.

Give me a call to discuss what your needs are and whether we could work together. I know that knowing what to expect can help to reduce the anxiety associated with reaching out. You can expect us to discuss:

  • a little about yourself

  • what has brought you to seek counselling

  • your expectations/ what you hope to get out of our time together and how hope I can help

  • a little about how I work

  • any other information you feel is important for me to know

  • probably a bit of chat - the most important part!

Call or send me a text and we can sork out a good time to chat.
